Yoga Therapy is the union of western medicinal science and eastern philosophy. The combination of science and a deeper level of understanding of the human body is the perfect foundation for Yoga Therapy. Changes can be made on all levels, physical, psychological and physiological. The most wonderful thing is that it is accessible to everyone! 

Yoga Therapy is a holistic approach, which is available to the young, old, fit, unfit, flexible or not, and looks at examining the whole constitution and the systems that support it. An individualised yoga practice is designed in accordance to an individuals needs and capabilities, using yoga techniques which assist in strengthening the physical body and physiological systems as well as the general well-being of students.  A practice is designed as a home practice so students can comfortably practice in their own space, with guidance from their therapist. This allows students to take charge of their own health as benefits are a result of their own commitment and effort.

Students progress is monitored and 3 different practices are generally given in accordance with the difference stages of progression.

1st practice focuses on mobility - generally practiced for 21 days 
2nd practice focuses on strengthening - practiced for 14-21 days
3rd practice focuses on maintaining - ongoing

Yoga therapy is beneficial for any physical symptoms, illness, mental illness, general disabilities and general well-being. 

Your therapist Cindy, is a qualified Yoga Therapist with over 3.5 years of specific therapy training with Yoga Therapy Australia and International Yoga Therapist Dr. N Chandrasekaran of Chennai.

If you would like to make a change and be responsible for your health and enhancing your life, a Yoga Therapy practice is a great place to start.  

Fees and charges
1st Consultation - $100  (1.5hrs)
2nd & 3rd consultations -  $70/session  (1/2 hr-1 hr) 
OR 3 x session special $200

Cindy worked with me to address my lower back pain which had persisted over a period of time. She carefully created a program that focused firstly on stretching then moved to strengthening before consolidating my routine into maintenance. Cindy was exceptional at working out what was going to fit into my lifestyle in terms of time and frequency of practice as she understands that it isn't always easy to motivate yourself. She is a practical teacher who is very caring. I would recommend Cindy for yoga therapy and the reason: when I don't follow her program, the back pain starts to return.
